This place is a great spot for a health conscious or just an indulgent breakfast/brunch on any given day. The place is always packed but I've never waited over ten minutes, which is nice when you haven't had your first cup of coffee for the day. The menu is eclectic and has a wide variety of revolving specials based on the season they're in. Coffee is good and they have an iced version which is nice during the Florida Summer. Only complaint is that one day you will get the most attentive server and the next you can get someone who disappears after taking your order and never be able to get a refill on your joe when another table will receive an entire carafe because their server went the extra mile. All in all still a great spot that I really enjoy more often than not.

Found this place while visiting family in Boca. Was thrilled to find an awesome new breakfast spot...and wasn't much more than a stone's-throw away from the Marriott- Boca Raton. Let me first say, the theme is adorable. I love a good upscale diner (as I am SURE my fellow 'Yelpers' do). The Kale Tonic [that accidentally arrived at our table] was AWESOME!! I went for breakfast--two days in a row. I got the 'Trifecta', with a Belgian waffle (both days). The first day, I got it with bacon. The second, with sausage. The first day, everything was a bit over-cooked. The second--everything was on-point. I can deal with a little inconsistency here 'n' there, as the prices are reasonable, and the portion sizes are good. Doubt you will box anything up, but you also will not leave hungry. Also, the coffee is strong, plenty hot, and smooth (wait---did I just describe my husband?!?!...LOL) ---and they leave a carafe of coffee and water at your table. That's a definite plus, in my book! I took away a star for the lack of consistency in the food (actually, more like half of a star)...and the other---for the service. This place would be all but PERFECT, if not for the former cast of 'Mean Girls' that is employed at this location. They are nothing short of completely snotty...and act as if you are interrupting their day's 'agenda' by showing up there. I could have done without the snobbery...and could have appreciated a smile...but, this is a solid place to eat...and can't say the snobbery COMPLETELY ran me away! I am pleased to have found a decent location [just short of] 4 miles from my home. So glad!!

Never fails to please! Breakfast or lunch, it's always terrific. I wish they were open for dinner...even without a "dinner menu" as I'm sure I'm not the only one in Boca who would enjoy their amazing pancakes (LOVE the carrot) and wraps for supper. One teeny wish- that they would serve REAL maple syrup for free if you ask. Adding a $1 for a teeny bottle is kind of cheesy. Our family brings our own now. Not paying $5 for Vermont syrup! Otherwise great food. Particularly amazing since it's a chain.

Great breakfast. Great service. Healthy options. Clean, fresh food. Simply great. It's a good idea to book ahead on Sunday's to avoid any wait. Try it, you'll like it.

I come here mostly for weekend breakfasts but the occasional mid-week lunch is great too. The wraps for lunch are delicious The pancakes are ginormous! Try the carrot or cranberry/nut. Lots of healthy choices.

Great food, especially the monte cristo French toast. Not a fan of their iced coffee though

The food here seems like it has all been prepackaged, and labeled as healthy. First Watch is a chain in an area where mom n' pop shops are dominant. The service here is no bueno. While all of our waiters have been nice, they haven't exactly been all there if you know what I mean. It takes them usually a while to even come over to the table and then they disappear for long periods of time. The atmosphere is nice, especially because all the windows on the side of the restaurant let in a lot of natural light. The servers could keep the place a bit cleaner, as it seems the tables seem to stay messy after people have left, but that is a small detail. The bacon tastes processed and devoid of any real meaty flavor. The potatoes taste fresh, yet flavorless at the same time. But by far the food menu item that seems pre-made are the omelets. I am not saying that they are, but the way they taste makes them seem as if they have been sitting out for hours. They are about 90% egg, and only 10% actually items inside (cheese, meats, onions, etc). Surprisingly their lunch here is quite good. I occasionally get the 2 For You deal, and get the Beefeater and a Cobb Salad. The Beefeater is delicious, mainly because the bread in encrusted with cheese, which makes it crunchy and flavorful. The Cobb Salad is quite tasty, and refreshing, so together with the sandwich they are a delightful pairing. Everything here seems to be between $7 to $9, which is an okay amount to pay for the food. With so many other options, First Watch is not my first choice to come to for breakfast. Food (B-), Pricing (C), Atmosphere (B), Service (C)

It is official. This location is finally up to par. It appears that there was a complete overhaul in management and staff and the service issues that plagued it seem to be an issue of the past. Service is timely, accurately and with a smile. The food is also up to par with other locations and as you would expect from other First Watch locations. Now worth coming. Just make sure to get here before 10am on a Sunday if you want to avoid waiting in line.

I absolutely loved this place. Their Kale Tonic juice is really good. I ordered the "lean machine", also very good. My son ordered their fruit crepes and ate the whole plate minus the muffin. Typically at best I can force feed him 3 bites. Lol. Lots of healthier options and some not quite as healthy, but certainly manyynotches above your standard brunch place.

I popped in here for a late breakfast yesterday. Being at the one in Wellington, I knew the place wasn't going to fail to impressed. They offer complimentary coffee (um...YEA!) to the ones that want to get their caffeine fix on. I went for the two fresh fruit crepes wrapped around bananas, strawberries, and apples topped with a low-fat organic strawberry yogurt. It even came with a lemon poppyseed muffin and a small side of the homemade granola. My son and I really enjoyed it without the guilt ;) The service was friendly and the place is clean.

Hair in the food of 2 plates. No waiters. No napkins. No syrup for the pancake. I can keep going...I love first watch but this particular location is unorganized and just unstaffed.

My friends and I love this place. We go there for the great foot and service They are currently featuring their savor the autumn season menu. I had the Roasted Butternut Squash Quinoa Bowl and it is by far one of the best We prefer to sit in Daniels section. Daniel is always very attentive and on top of his game. I would greatly recommend this place.

Went here to celebrate my brother's birthday and there were only two visible waiters. The food took forever to come out and when it did there were curly short hairs in two of the dishes ordered. The waffles were soggy and the pancakes came out without syrup. THe crepe was undercooked and the bacon was not crispy. The pancakes were getting cold and we had to stand up and ask for syrup because the waiter was taking orders from other tables and never checked on our food. Understaffed and unclean. The location near the mall is MUCH better than this one!!!!

Well well well, guess who finally stepped their game up? Thank goodness because I've driven by this location daily and always said to myself what if. Luckily upper management took their complaints and Yelp reviews seriously because it has has done a complete 180. It's not totally First Watch perfection yet, but it is definitely headed in the right direction. I returned with my family last week and we were greeted by who seemed like a new manager (because god knows the old was one horrendous). The wait was normal, about 10-15 minutes. But that is a good thing because of the food turnover, plus a busier place means higher standards. The wait staff was slightly different but it could have been just a scheduling thing. I will say there are about 2 waiter/waitresses that have no business waiting table so to see this improvement is greatly appreciated. The orders were put in and came out correctly. OMG did I just say that? Yes, you bet your ass I did and because of this, the vastly improved level of service/management/food has given me new hope. It also has given me a reason to increase their rating. On the way out that day, the gentlemen who I thought was the manager advised me he was the area supervisor and appreciated that the fact I returned to eat there after all (and I mean all) of their continuous mess-ups during the first few months. I will say if you're reading reviews on this place, be skeptical of people with little or no reviews. Those that have glowing reviews or those who don't even have a profile. Not that there won't be newbies who will now find this place to be worthy of positive reviews, but you should take heed to what the regulars have to say. I'm not the end all be all, well, I really am, but I care about your appetites and your wallets that's all.

I was very very very very apprehensive to First Watch. After reading the reviews and the horrible service I was.... nervous. Maybe management started reading these reviews, or they woke up.... but I had a fabulous time at first watch. I went on a Saturday morning.... lots of people, but absolutely no wait. When I started walking up to the door with the rest of my group, the door was already open and the host was already asking how many and starting showing my party of 3 to our table. I was expecting to have to wait 30 minutes for a table... but no. Even at 11:30am, on a saturday... we got out table super fast. When we sat down I definitely thought that we were about to get the worse service imaginable. I held on to my seat when the waitress walked over and asked for our drinks. Sweat bullets were running down my face as I slowly said "Iced Tea". "Sweet or unsweet?" "Sweet please". Yeah, within a minute my whole table had our drinks. No flies, no lipstick on the glasses, no dirty silverware. All was well. I've been told that first watch is the best place for breakfast. I have to agree that it is a great place for breakfast, not my first choice, but definitely a top choice. Big menu filled with everything from omelets to fritatta's to pancakes. We ordered 3 blueberry pancakes for the table, I got the Bacado (omelet with bacon, avocado and cheese). Very very very good. Portions were excellent. My omelet came with home style potatoes. I cleared my plate. Avocado's were fresh and not on the cusp of turning brown. But the real showstopper of the table were the pancakes. DELICIOUS. I couldn't stop eating the stupid things. I knocked a star off because the center was still pure batter (Which in my household is never an issue, but in a restaurant I get a little sketched out). But the pancakes were so moist and fluffy and there were whole blueberries in the pancake. Not like other places where you order blueberry pancakes and you get specs here and there. My experience at first watch may have been luck.... but I really liked first watch. Read the other reviews... get scared like me.... but go and see for yourself. I was impressed with the food and service. I will definitely be going back to get the cheddar/bacon pancakes. :)

Recommended by a work associate, we all ordered breakfast on a Tuesday morning. It was fairly empty and we didn't wait long for food to be served. I ordered the sour dough french toast. Amazing! I would love to return another day and try their other dishes. My coworker ordered the eggs benedict and they looked to die for. Great first impression for me.

Went here today with family. I got the crepegg which I found to be so so. It was a little heavy for me. My sisters meal was really yummy... I should have ordered that instead. Hers was called the protein bowl I believe... It was quinoa, almonds, dried cherries I think, chicken breast and dressing. Sounds strange, but it was really tasty. My nephew got the monte cristo which was pretty yummy. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I will be back!

I am updating my review after trying a few new things. The banana granola pancakes are great! Especially if you order them with the topping that comes with the Floridian French Toast. The open faced chicken salad sandwich is awesome! I order it with no cheese and it comes with soup or salad. I tried the Italian wedding soup that was their special of the day and it was fantastic!!! Very tasty! Also, the cranberry, banana, nut oatmeal is really good, and it comes with an english muffin. Service is very fast too! Please get more flavor syrups and I'll up this to 5 stars!

My family & I simply love First Watch and we're not alone in this because the St. Andrews location is always so crowded. Unfortunately, the wait times have often deterred us from going. About a year ago we tried the SR7 location, and to put things nicely, there was A LOT of room for improvement and we never went back until recently; a few months ago, my mom and I heard of a turnaround so we took a chance & went back to the SR7 First Watch. The difference was night and day! They cleaned up their act in every way possible. Word about this must've spread too because we thought we'd be slick and went there over Labor Day weekend and they were bursting at the seams! You can tell they were doing the best they could with the resources that they have, but what blew my mind was the level of service that their new manager, Brian, has brought that store up from the brink of death. Always with a big, warm smile, Brian is the poster child for hospitality as he epitomizes professionalism and grace under pressure, especially with the... fastidious... Boca crowd. He may very well become a saint. :) Every time that we've been back, we notice that he stops by everyone's table to check on how the guests were enjoying their FW experience. And let me tell you, *everything* is improved there: service, food, cleanliness, you name it. SR7 First Watch may very well have been the Ugly Duckling of the franchise, but not anymore. Brian is a miracle worker, and a rising star. Kudus to Brian and his staff for a job exceptionally well done.

OK...first and foremost, they are NOT kidding when they say the pancakes are huge. 12" cakes. Could not finish 3. They charge for real maple syrup, though, and are a bit stingy with the butter. Regular plain cakes were fine, though not as savory as those at Original Pancake House. The "Banana Granola Crunch" stack was hearty and tasty with plenty of 'nana, oats, cranberries, sunflower seeds, the works. Eggs were done well, and toast looked great, but coffee was mediocre and "fresh squeezed" OJ was about as fresh-squeezed as "fresh-squeezed" Tropicana. Service was friendly and prompt, but there was a line by 10:00 am with the floor packed wall-to-wall, and though it was inexpensive, I don't know if I'd wait for a table...likely drive to Flashback Diner. I'll come here again for eggs and a shorter trip if I can beat the lines.

This First Watch is great! I try to come here weekly for their delicious breakfasts or lunches and hot coffee. Their chickenchanga is so good that it's worth the drive just to have that. Their waiters/waitresses are super nice and really take care of you. Looking for a quick lunch? Their soup and sandwich combos are fantastic. I recommend their tomato soup and Reuben. This is no quick diner food, this is definitely a step up, with great service and prices.

Absolutely horrid! Avoid at all costs! I ordered eggs Benedict. I got cold sliced ham, ice cold muffin, cold eggs, and a rancid tomato. Wife got crepes...also cold. Kids got pancakes, burnt. Tried to alert the waitress and her response was: "yep, we know, we are having some growing pains...". No..that's not growing pains, that's just crap food! Oh! and lest I forget, there were flies everywhere! Couldn't finish my meal, nor could anyone else in my party. No manager on hand to discuss the issues we were having... this location needs to close before breakfast tomorrow so that the rest of the First Watch chain doesn't get a bad rep from this one

You can overeat here and not feel like you are going to explode. The food is always healthy and fresh. The staff is courteous and engaging and have great recommendations. This is not the first visit and will not be the last.

I love this location. I admit, in the beginning some of the servers were obviously new and needed more training, but now I am a regular. I visit at least twice a week and I am thrilled every time. The wait staff is very nice and my food is always delicious. The one time my waffle came out soggy it was fixed with no problems. I love this location and will continue to visit every week.

First time here and it was delicious. A nice man next to our table mistakenly ordered two pancakes instead of one and they were so big he couldn't even finish it. We will come back. Friendly staff.

This is my First trip to this location. I've been to the Saint Andrews Blvd location in Boca Before. We arrived about 11:45 on a Sunday morning. Party of 3. Was told a 20-25 minute wait for a table. Actual wait time about 35 minutes. We got a table by the kitchen, so that was kinda like being in an episode of Hell's Kitchen. Our Server- Jillian was extremely friendly. We placed our orders. At Least 25 minutes went by until we received our food. Jillian would come by periodically to refill our beverages and apologize for the delays. Food came out- by another waitress and passed us right by as she placed it down in front of a table halfway across the restaurant before another waitress who was helping her corrected her that she brought it to the wrong table! We got the Pumpkin Pancake special, Floridian French Toast, and regular Sourdough French Toast. The Pumpkin Pancake and Floridian French Toast were both very good but the Apple Sausage that came with the Pumpkin Pancake special was cold! . My Sourdough French Toast I noticed was really Salty! I figured the hunk of butter which was already dolloped and melted onto the french toast was the culprit. I told our server about the issue. She asked if I would like something different, but I just said to remake the French Toast and put the butter on the side. About 7 minutes went by and she apologized and said the kitchen was "backed up". By now, the other 2 in my party had finished their breakfast. At about the 15 minute mark after I sent back my Salty French Toast, I got up and called it quits. They were just bringing out my French Toast, and the Server offered to box it to go if I wanted. I politely declined. I was really Pissed Off! It takes no more than 5 minutes to cook french toast. If an order comes back, the damn cooks should re-make THAT order FIRST before the other orders they have in the Que. I explained what happened to the manager. He did apologize. He also tried to blame our server that She didn't put the re-make on the front of the Que in the Kitchen. She insisted she did. I tend to believe Her. The Manager Did comp the meal-which was the right thing to do. I hope they get their act together with service here and speed from the Kitchen- because this Sunday Brunch was just a Cluster-F***! An hour and a half ordeal to be sorely disappointed!

I have eaten at this chain on in Ft Myers and it was pretty good so I thought I would go to the location at 441/Glades. What a mistake. Showed up at Sunday @ 8 am. There were 2 servers and no other FOH staff. After our order was taken another 8 tables were seated and that was the beginning of the end. Could not get a glass of water from our server, due to the fact he now had another 4 tables. The food was undercooked and had no flavor. Was going to make a comment to the manager but it did not look like there was one on duty. The food is mediocre at best and could have went to IHop for basically the same thing. Very disappointing and will not return when there are so many other breakfast choices in West Boca.

I consistently enjoy the experience at their St Andrews location. This was the first time I tried the St Rd 441 location, as it's closer to my home - I'll never go back. Walked in (no wait at 930am on a Sunday AM) & noticed their decor - their flooring detracts from their setting. Brown with brown 'smears' here & there is not attractive - how can they tell if the floor is dirty or not? Told the waiter, Dan on 3 separate times I'd like milk for my coffee. Asked another waiter who said he would ask Dan to bring it. Finally, as my coffee was getting cold, I got up to ask the host for it - he looked clueless - didn't seem to know what to do. A couple of minutes later Dan brought it (shouldn't he had apologized? I work in customer service & know about apologizing to customers). The wait for the food was long - we saw customers who came in after us get their food. Their food was excellent. The quality is there but their customer service is lacking. Wait staff seems confused.

I just went to this First Watch and had a delicious brunch! I ordered the Monte Christo and it was wonderful. I was glad that it was made with French toast instead of being deep-fried. A favorite of mine is the banana granola nut pancakes. They are incredibly large and taste so fresh. Make sure you come with an appetite! The food is always wonderful and the service was also great today.

I'm so glad they have opened another location in Boca. I have been a fan for years. The service and food is fantastic. The prices are just right. The only criticism I can make is that my favorite item was removed from the menu: the Vera Cruz burrito. I asked if they could still make it, and after asking the kitchen, they accommodated me with no problem. I doubt they will continue to do this and I won't keep asking for it, but I will find a new favorite from the menu. Best breakfast around!

I've been going to the St. Andrews location since they open. I love the First Watch concept and menu. Tried the new west location this morning. I had a terrific server (Tim) and the food came out within a couple of minutes, fresh and hot! I'll definitely be going back soon (this week). Why would anyone even think about IHOP with First Watch a block away?

We loved our lunch! We were there on a busy Sunday; despite the long line, the wait was short. There are so many healthy menu items, it was hard to choose. My turkey burger was delicious. The staff was wonderful, the hostess cheerful and our server nice. We will definitely be returning soon.

Our party of 5 experience was excellent. The service was great from a prompt seating...taking our order...to delicious food. Great menu with so many choices! Only 1 drawback...4 diners received their food together....1 lagged behind- From the other reviews, sounds like management needs to work on kitchen timing... I would recommend this restaurant to all on the west side of town... Lets give the management team a chance to work on getting their timing in sync...

visited in the last 3 months to what looked like a new first watch. there was an enormous line but the front suggested a wait time of only 20 minutes. they actually beat that estimate. the waitress offered us a delicious crepe appetizer as we were "first timers." the coffee, although bland, was bottomless and no one had an attitude when I wanted another carafe and a to-go cup. I usually go veg'd out but instead tried Acapulco express minus chorizo. Everything we wanted on the side came as ordered. The Omelet was terrific. The turkey bacon was delicious. I walked out feeling full and happy. Will return until they send a first watch south. parking: waited around in the lot for about 15 minutes but able to park close.

Well my wife and I went back to First Watch in West Boca and we were pleasantly surprised. We ordered breakfast and the meals were delivered quickly and correctly, the waffle I had was airy and very flavorful; my wife had the Crepe with turkey and Spinach which was exceptional. The service was very good and the manager was attentive to all the customers. All an all it was a great visit and I was happy we gave them a 2nd chance; a complete 180 from our last visit. We will be back....
